Are you new to the area and looking for volunteer opportunities as a way to give back to your community?

 

Does serving the needs of children appeal to you? 

 

If so, please join us to learn about the Kiwanis Club of Southport-Oak Island and our many programs. From helping first graders improve their reading skills to working with elementary, middle, and high school students with service projects; from growing vegetables for local food pantries to packing backpacks full of edibles for the food insecure; from supporting robotics, golf, and peer court programs to providing scholarships to deserving students looking to further their education, our club actively supports the youth of Brunswick County. We also host a number of fund-raising events throughout the year, with proceeds used to support our programs and fund a scholarship program that awards over $20,000 each year to worthy high school graduates.
