Southport Spring Festival Scheduled for April 7-8
Kiwanis Club of Southport-Oak Island Continues as Joint Sponsor
The Southport Spring Festival, an annual Brunswick County tradition for almost three decades, will be held Easter Weekend. Over 160 vendors, many showcasing handmade arts and crafts, will be on-hand, and musical entertainment will be featured throughout the weekend. Many children’s activities, including a trackless train, will be offered, and various food vendors will ensure attendees don't go hungry. The Kiwanis Club will be holding a flower and plant sale at the event.
Festivities begin Friday, April 7 at 10 a.m. in Franklin Park, located at the corner of Howe and West streets in downtown Southport, and conclude for the day at 5 p.m. Activities begin again at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8. The festival ends at 4 p.m. that day.
Thousands of residents and visitors from across North Carolina and neighboring states are expected to attend. Admission is free.
The event is sponsored by Downtown Southport, the Southport-Oak Island Kiwanis Club and the City of Southport.
