Boys & Girls Homes Of North Carolina At Lake Waccamaw

• Homes provide residential foster care, adoption services, shelter and guidance for boys and girls from distressed families throughout the state. The Carolinas District of Kiwanis supports the Kiwanis Cottage that houses up to 8 girls or boys.

  • Objective:  Provide financial, logistical, and other support for the Kiwanis Cottage at the Boys and Girls Homes located at Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina. 

  • Kiwanis Activity:  Provide upkeep and improvements to lodging, interact with the residents of the Kiwanis cottage & provide financial support to the Homes.

  • Time Commitment:  Afternoon, evening or weekend a few times a year as directed by the District.
